EATING OUT

The Heron Inn
A beautiful riverside pub overlooking the river with stunning views across the estuary and literally on your doorstep! They serve a great range of freshly prepared food, locally sourced. Open all day from 10am serving light breakfasts up unitll 12 noon, with a full menu and specials from 12pm until 9pm. Always good to book a table in advance if you are looking to eat inside as it's very popular.

The Pandora Inn
The perfect place to take in the sea air and to enjoy good food. The Pandora is full of quirky character with parts dating back to the 13th century and is set on the banks of Restronget creek. There's ample seating both inside the pub and on the floating jetty outside. If you are going in the Summer months, get there early at lunchtimes if you want to park nearby, and don't forget your crab lines.

The Waterside- Flushing
Set on the keyside in the pretty village of Flushing its the ideal place to go for fresh fish. It's small and quaint and sufficiently off the beaten track to avoid the crowds. There are also nice local walks if you want to build up your appetite beforehand!

Hotel Tresanton- St Mawes
If you are looking to do something a bit special then a foray up to the Tresanton is definitely an experience you won’t forget. We’ve had many a great meal gazing over water, sipping on something cool, enjoying food of the highest quality. Their lunchtime fixed menus won’t break the bank either. Best still, with a bit of forward planning you can catch the passenger ferry to and from so you don’t even have to worry about the car!
